Summary:
The purpose of the Endpoint Support Specialist - Level I is to ensure that all users of IT Endpoints (personal computers, printers, smartphones, office phones, fax machines, video-conferencing tools) have the necessary technical support to effectively and reliably leverage the basic computing hardware and software provided by the company.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide IT support services during swing/evening shift (3pm-11pm, Mon-Fri) Proactively replace the batteries in mobile equipment on the plant floor.
Regularly maintain the label printers used in manufacturing applications.
Monitor the IT Service Desk and triage incoming incidents or requests that are not handled by automated workflows.
Respond to end-user questions and complaints regarding information technology endpoints that support manufacturing activities (mobile computers/scanners, label printers, etc.
).
Determine the most effective manner to resolve end-user's technical issue.
Record required information regarding incidents and requests in ticket system.
Update tickets with the appropriate journal entries and close tickets with resolution upon completion of the job.
Deliver and deploy endpoint equipment to users; ensure that PC's have the correct build image, and that peripherals are properly connected and configured when onboarding or upgrading an end-user.
Update the CMDB as assets progress through their lifecycles.
Work on projects as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience 0-2 years of experience in IT Support High school education (minimum) Technical training via university, military, or trade school strongly desired.
Certification in ITIL Foundation and MSFT MCSE or similar desired.
Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to learn and support new and fast-changing technologies.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop OS features and capabilities.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 features and capabilities.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory/Azure Active Directory for user support.
Good command of English language to provide effective phone, desk-side and email support.
Detail oriented.
Good interpersonal skills.
Moderate knowledge of mobile device configurations and usage, such as Apple iPhones and Samsung Android devices.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
