Delegates responsibilities to operators, leads and helpers.
Keeps the schedule moving, monitors production, quality, etc.
Plans daily work schedules based on customer needs and expectations by performing the following duties:
Insures the integrity of the schedules are followed; assists Shift Supervisor on manning hours required to complete assigned tasks; regulates all overtime hours; monitors or assists in the training of all personnel in the press area; monitors daily production levels; assists in weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end inventories; performs production duties of subordinates within the area to insure production schedules are met; insures that a neat, orderly work area is maintained.
Assists in general shop housekeeping.
Performs other duties as assigned.
