2 Quick Apply Full-time 22 hours ago Full Job Description Repetitively lift aluminum extrusions of lengths up to forty feet and weighing up to seventy-five pounds from saw table to metal basket.
Visually inspect metal while placing in baskets looking for burrs, scratches, chips, gouges, dents, bubbles, die lines, etc.
Insure all pieces meet or exceed customer specifications.
When material is questionable, contact foreman, supervisor or inspector for approval.
Keep spacers level and even during stacking operation.
Blow off saw chips between each row or once basket is full depending on need and specifications.
Assist Saw Operator cut up scrap and place scrap in scrap hopper.
Push baskets on wheels into or out of workstation insuring they do not block aisleways or walkways.
Assist Saw Operator weigh and record empty and full baskets/racks before they leave work area.
Change saw blades and add oil to saw as needed.
Regularly check all equipment to insure it is in safe working order.
Report potential problems or defects to foreman or lead person.
